It’s really sad how much tech I had available to me to produce this. Living with a couple of trained animators, we had the fancy (for the time) drawing tablet, and adobe photoshop. Incrementally, they would show me what the buttons did to add colour, or layers, or different sized brushes.

BONUS: 221 The original run of this comic saw these released at Christmas. I’ll save 220 for when it’s actually Christmas this time.

Engineers build bridges, but Combat Engineers are different. They’re like anti-engineers who can take apart anything, usually at high velocity in all directions. And they’re crazy. Like, they looked at all the crap infantry have to carry around and decided “I want to add more heavy gear to that!”

there should be another line there defining where the panels of this comic are. I somehow missed it the first time around. I could have fixed it now, but decided it was too much effort.

Bonus: 212! This one made a lot more sense in December when the first run was being posted. At the time, I worked at Casa Loma, and we had this massive Christmas tree. Every year, it took six guys two days to construct. Down to a day and a half once I applied my laziness to finding better ways of working. Tree-up ad tree-down were some of my favourite days of the year, when we got danger pay in the form of General Tao chicken.
