This is why *I* drive places. I’m so used to driving that I get car-sick as a passenger . I think something and the car doesn’t do it, it hurts. Also, most of my friends don’t drive at all, so I am the only choice for pilot.

That map is my attempt to draw the Kingdom of Ealdormere in the Society for Creative Anachronism. Vindalf’s world is highly inconsistent being both medieval-fantasy and modern. The geography tends to change based on what I can draw.

Next issue is #200, and a special guest comic from @lledra. Make sure to follow and enable notifications to see that!

That puts us half way through my reserves. I really should start working on new ones…

And yes, I see the typo, but I’m not about to fix it after 12 years. It’s traditional now.

So, it turns out that attacking a bunch of Jedi is a bad idea. Especially if you’re a team of three idiots armed with cheap laser swords and no reconnaissance.

On one side, I just heard Darth-tagnan shouting “Avenge me!” as he went down. Our other companion was not to be seen, but his girlfriend (now wife) was telling him to just stay down.

Luckally, I had a plan. I bought a few gallons of the legendary Pennsic chocolate milk right before our raid on the Kingdom of Lochac. It was enough to ransom our freedom.

They did make us eat some Vegemite to learn our lesson. 😛

Samuel L Jackson when, playing Mace Windu, wanted a purple lightsaber. Fans have spent ages trying to ascribe meaning to the colours of the sabres and what does it mean to have only one purple?

It means you can instantly see Mr. Jackson in any of the wide shots when his weapon is lit.

Scientifically, the Gold-shirts had an 18% chance to get killed on the USS Enterprise, under Kirk. The infamous Red-Shirts only had a 10% chance of being killed. (https://nerdist.com/star-trek-red-shirts-werent-statistically-the-most-likely-to-die-after-all/)

But the stereotype remains. I think it’s why they switched colours in TNG, the Redshirt union demanded a safer colour. It didn’t work.

So, with the medical tent selling a hand full of laser swords, to raise money for bandaids etc., at Pennsic: how many lightsabers could be out there?

We failed to take into account that some nerds might bring their own from home. Turns out, that the group from Australia brought a bunch of high quality FX lightsabres with them. So we begin our raid on their camp, and just hear several, much better lightsabres igniting from all directions.

It was a calculated risk… I failed maths twice…

So, way back in issue 183, I recalled the time at Pennsic when we failed to storm a cool pirate ship. Later that next day, one of our friends was telling a story about the bunch of Jedi who took the coll pirate ship. Apparently, there was another group who managed to get their hands on lightsabers. So we decided to raid them, because like how many laser swords could there be in a medieval war?

Hey, I have a comic. I knew I made this blog for a reason other than hating The Guardian Code. But really, all things should be used for hating The Guardian Code.

When I cut Arwen’s part from the re-issue, I forgot that she becomes important later. Maybe we’ll bring her back if I ever start making more again.

Ok, so after a second viewing (this time sober) I have decided that this show is actually awesome!

The original show absolutely needed context about how the computer world interacted with the User world. We get to see real people working with the computers, and the real computers being fully intelligent without changing how people and computers interact at all.

The new characters are really interesting and unique. The natural leader is CisMan HeteroWhite. He’s joined by Nerd, Sportsball, and of course: Girl. It’s always exciting to see them morph into video game characters and battle waves of mindless drones. Who wants random viral binomes to have speaking parts or personality?

I love the new Megabyte design. Noses are for losers! And the old viral skull paint job never made him more interesting or threatening. Plus, his voice is spot on!

Then, there is episode 10. Oh My User! Bob is back! He looks good! Dot is shiney, and Enzo has those big puppy dog eyes we all remember. Speaking of puppy dogs, Frisket is back! Ans Megabyte is so awesome now that Frisket runs away at the mere mention of his name.

I’m gonna throw out my DVDs of ReBoot classic to make room for the Guardian Code in my collection. This timeless classic will never die, and the video game CGI will never look dated!

Happy April Fool’s Day!

ugh, I almost threw up writing this.
